Aluminum Stars
My Original Pattern. This is a necklace made from 18g Aluminum. The wire was wrapped around a mandrel by hand, and the resulting coil was then cut to create rings using shears. The rings interlock to create a star-like motif which is repeated around the entire length of the necklace. The clasp is a hook handmade from the same wire as the rings. The necklace is surprisingly lightweight for it's bold look. The length is adjustable from 15 to 17 inches.
